Rimmel 9 in 1 BB Cream - Review

hey everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't been able to follow my new schedule yet, but I'm trying! Today's review is going to be on the Rimmel 9 in 1 BB Cream, which was released about a year or two ago. Lets jump in!
I purchased this after I ran out of my Physician's Formula BB Cream (which I loved!) and heard that the Rimmel one was similar to the Physician's Formula so I thought, why not? I purchased this at Target for about $6 dollars and 1 fluid oz. They had 3 different shades, light, medium, and deep, and I picked up the light just to be on the safe side. One of my biggest concerns with face makeup is finding the right shade and light was too dark for me! I'm not too pale, more of a beige skin tone so I don't think this would work for people with lighter skin. The consistency is very thick, almost like a mousse and whipped.
This made me use less product and was ok in the blending department. It was abit streaky on my skin and clung to my dry patches.
In terms of coverage, I have micro pimples on my forehead as well as dark spots on my cheeks and this covered them a little bit. Defainatly not a full coverage product, but then again it's a bb cream. This bb cream claims to
-prime
-moisterize
-minimize pores
-conceal
-cover
-smooth
-brighten
-help protect
-last all day
My skin did not feel any more moisterized while using this nor brighter. I don't have large pores so I don't know how well this would minimize pores. It did help protect since it has SPF 25, but it certainly didn't last all day. Probably about 2 hours at the most. This bb cream has a light, yet noticeable fresh scent that lasted. Overall, this bb cream wasn't really one of my favorites but I'm glad I tried it to see what all the hype was about! I hope this review helped and if you have and questions, comments, or concerns, leave them down in the comments and I'll be sure to reply. How did this bb cream work for you? Thanks for reading!

Vintage Sister Lip Balms

hello everyone,
hope your having an amazing day on this fine Friday the 13th! I actually didn't have such an unlucky nail aside from a hangnail I discovered. Today's review is going to be on some lip balms that I picked up a while ago. now that I think of it, it was last year around the holidays and you may or may not have heard of them but the company is Vintage Sister. The back story is actually a really cute story but the owner Dawn found some of her old vintage tinned lip balms from when she was a child and wanted to have the nostalgia of the same balms. she made beautiful, creamy balms and potted them in vintage sliding tins! In total I've had around 8 of her balms so I have a pretty good idea by now. I have only two today to share with you guys but I'll do scent reviews for the other balms I've had! before I get into scents, the actual balms are fantastic. they're creamy and soft, not oily or firm at all, and I think since you use your finger to apply, they warm up so it's fabulous. plus, all natural ingredients! they're very moisturizing and thick so it's a great night time balm! let's get into the scents!

-candy cane: this one is a classic candy came scent. you get the peppermint and a bit of vanilla which makes the scent creamer
-circus peanut: this balm is my favorite of her permanent tins! it's such an original scent and I've personally never had a circus peanut but this smells of banana and marshmallow and I sniff a little bit of something else but I can't detect exactly what it is. overall a very sweet and fun scent!
-piña colada: this is one that I was expecting to be my favorite and I can't quite explain why it isn't. it smells exactly like a perfect combination of pineapple and coconut so it smells perfect for summer. defainatly one I'd recommend!
-bubblegum: this one was not one of my favorites because the scent was extremely faint. it smells like bubblegum, just very light.
-gummy bear: this one seems to be everyone's favorite one! to me it didn't smell like a gummy bear, but instead hawaiian fruit punch. this is a great fruity one!
-mango peach fusion of spring '12: this is my favorite of her balms by a landslide! it smells amazing. just the perfect fusion (see what I did there?) of my favorite fruits. it's summer in a tin and it's the perfect amount of sweetness and just perfect! I hope Dawn brings this one back for spring!
-lemon cheesecake of spring '12: my brother wanted this one since I'm not a huge fan of lemon or cheescake. overall this smelled exactly like a sweet cheesecake with a hint of lemon.
-chocolate mint tube: since I hate putting my fingers in lip balm because of sanitary reasons, the tubes were no brainers. the formula is amazing, silky and creamy. the scent is perfect exactly like a semi sweet chocolate with sweet peppermint. amazing!

whew that was quite abit! the packaging is so beautiful and Dawn puts so much work into these. each of her balms has a cartoon of a girl on the cover it's so cute! my overall grade is a 4 out of a 5 since they come in tins but she has tubes as well. highly recommend especially since she has her holiday balms out now! each balm is $3.95 but she has coupon codes quite often. I'll have a link below. thanks for reading!

Welcome to my Pantry!

Hello lovelies
This is my very first post on my blog and I'm so excited. Writing and beauty are my favorite hobbies (if you call beauty a hobby) so what better way to share my thoughts then in a blog? I wanted to clear up the name of my blog as to not confuse anybody! My name is actually Tina but everyone calls me Tea so that nickname just kind of stuck to me!(: Alsoo, please comment a couple of requests in the comments and I'll be sure to try them out. Have a great day everyone!
